Physiotherapy & Acupuncture

About me

I’m a physiotherapist and acupuncture specialist with over 10 years of experience, working with people who feel tense, overloaded, or in pain. By combining physiotherapy with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I take a whole-body view rather than focusing on symptoms alone.

My work is always individual. I take time to listen, understand what’s happening in your body, and support recovery at a pace that feels right for you, using physiotherapy, acupuncture, and hands-on treatment where appropriate.

For me, therapy is not just a technique, but a relationship. Creating a calm, safe space where people feel genuinely supported is central to how I work.

  • It focuses on assessing and treating musculoskeletal pain, movement restriction, and injury using hands-on techniques and targeted exercise. Treatment is tailored to restore mobility, reduce pain, and address underlying causes such as posture, movement patterns, or overuse.

  • This is my specialist area of physiotherapy focused on jaw (TMJ) dysfunction, facial tension, and their relationship with the neck and posture. Treatment targets issues such as jaw pain, clenching or grinding (bruxism), headaches, and restricted jaw movement, using precise manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.

  • TCM takes a whole-body approach, looking at patterns of imbalance rather than isolated symptoms. It is often used to support wellbeing when stress, fatigue, or long-standing issues affect how the body functions overall.

  • They are used to reduce pain, release muscle tension, and support circulation and tissue recovery. These techniques are often integrated with physiotherapy to support musculoskeletal treatment and physical healing.

  • This treatment supports natural skin regeneration by improving circulation, collagen production, and overall skin vitality. Red LED light therapy is used alongside acupuncture to enhance tissue repair and support a healthier, more refreshed appearance.

  • A gentle, hands-on treatment that works with subtle tensions in the body, particularly around the head, spine, and sacrum. It is often chosen when symptoms are persistent, sensitive, or when a slower, more subtle approach is needed.

  • A manual treatment working with the muscles and connective tissues of the face, jaw, and neck. The focus is on releasing tension, improving circulation, and supporting natural facial tone and lift.

  • Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a regenerative treatment that uses your own blood-derived growth factors to support skin renewal and tissue healing. It is a minimally invasive treatment that focuses on natural repair rather than artificial enhancement.

  • In many cases, yes. Most UK private health insurers cover physiotherapy when provided by a qualified practitioner. Coverage depends on your policy, so we recommend checking directly with your insurer in advance. We can provide receipts and treatment details to support your claim.

  • Your first session includes a detailed assessment, discussion of your symptoms and goals, and hands-on treatment where appropriate. You may also receive exercise advice or lifestyle guidance to support recovery between sessions. Acupuncture treatments are gentle and tailored to your comfort.

  • Acupuncture is a safe and well-established treatment when performed by a trained professional. Very fine, sterile needles are used, and most people feel little to no pain. Many patients find treatments deeply relaxing.
